Here are the top places to find ABA providers for your child:
1- Your child’s pediatrician. This should be your first stop as this is the doctor your child mostly sees and has contact with. The pediatrician should be able to give you some recommendations for ABA providers that take your child’s insurance.
2- Neurologist or psychologist office. In order to get your child evaluated for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) you must go to either a Neurologist or a Psychologist to get an ASD diagnosis. After the evaluation is done you can always ask them for recommendations of ABA companies near you.
3- Your insurance company. You can either search online in their directory or give
them a call to guide you on providers near you. Usually this may be a quicker option as the providers in their directory are in network already thus you know for sure when you call the ABA Agency that they take your child’s insurance.
4- Another option is going to the websites of Autism Speaks or FAU card directory and finding ABA providers in your area. You can also call and they should be able to help you.
5- Lastly, Google Search, you can do a quick search for “ABA Providers near me” and a list of those close to you will pop up. Always make sure you check their reviews as this will give you an idea of the quality of the company.
At this time SQ1 only accepts private insurances (Cigna, United, Tricare, Humana, Sunshine Title 21, Magellan, Aetna etc). But If you have Medicaid and are looking for a provider we can recommend ABA companies that we know.
